Hi! I'm trying this out to use for an undergraduate course (using a private group). Is there any way to disable the option to download the pdf for non-admin group members? Thanks - I'm really excited to give this a try!

I found a pub med paper which an ID that doesn't work with the system: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8548105 It gives en error when I try to submit it via search and when I try to look up the id 8548105 manually. Also the manual submission page looses any uploaded pdfs and the specified tags when there is a validation error. Enjoying the site in general though and thanks for all the hard work!

Thanks, it should be fixed now! Usually pubmed IDs consist of 8-digits, which is what caused the bug.

I added three arXiv papers this morning and it looks like they might be failing to fetch the PDF: http://www.openrev.org/paper/autoencoder-trees-0?gr_link=2453 http://www.openrev.org/paper/active-learning-of-hyperparameters-an-expected-cross-entropy-criterion-for-active-model-0?gr_link=2453 http://www.openrev.org/paper/density-sensitive-semisupervised-inference-2?gr_link=2453 (The loading indicator is hanging at 0%) Also, one of the papers seems to have gotten added to our group twice, and I'm not sure how to get rid of it--is this possible?

thanks for the feedback, and sorry about that. the automatic pdf adding of an arxiv paper works only for public conversations. if you want to add an arxiv paper to a private group you have two options: 1) add a public version of the paper via the search and then add a copy of that paper to your private group via the 'Add to Group' button in the paper view, or 2) upload the pdf manually via the 'Add Paper to Group' link from the admin menu within the group (you will still be able to pull the paper info from arxiv, just not the paper). does that clarify things a bit? just in case we have added your missing PDFs and deleted the duplicate entry. you can always delete papers yourself by going into the paper edit menu (the link next to the title) and clicking 'delete' at the bottom of the form. -Open Rev.
